4. Inspired Educators

“The program must continually increase the passion and knowledge of its educators.”

Voices Against Violence is an anti violence program based at the University of Texas at Austin and was where I learned many of my techniques and standards for high quality education. I was enrolled with 14 other students in this program during 2004-2005, then went on to coordinate for the following two years.

To this day, years later, I still receive and exchange emails, letters, and phone calls with the other educators and our mentors. We frequently detail how much we love Voices Against Violence, how we wish we could go back to working together, and how we are still dedicated to the mission of that program.

This is the type of story your organization will be able to tell if the educators are consistently inspired by their work.
